Emily

For the past 11 years, Emily Finkelstein has worked as a C-level executive delivering big wins for technology companies. As the COO of the Inc. 500 company NextLot, she equipped auctioneers with the best technology and strategies to achieve unparalleled success and grow their businesses. As the co-founder of Tourpedo, she created a new way for music fans to watch their favorite artists’ concerts via livestream. Most recently as the CEO of BidNTime, she provided retailers, dealers, and manufacturers a way to utilize the auction method to liquidate assets.

In these roles, Emily gained deep expertise in business strategy, people management, and organizational development, particularly in the technology, SaaS services, and marketing sectors. She developed a strong interest in helping other companies find the most effective ways to build and scale their businesses, just as she had done in her past ventures.

Now, as the CEO and founder of VentureXpert Advisors, Emily gets to do just that. She and her dream team of subject-matter experts serve as a one-stop shop for all of a business’s consulting needs. They know from experience how to overcome common challenges such as not having enough hours in the day to get everything done, and  navigating the “messy middle” between having to find the right resources and continually searching for top-talent.

Emily and her team are more than consultants. They are partners in helping their clients grow their businesses.

Emily kicked off her career in business and technology as an online operations and sales specialist at Google. The alignment of her passion, skill set, and entrepreneurial spirit continues to drive her career.

Emily holds a degree in business marketing and management from the Indiana University (IU) Kelley School of Business. She sits on the board of IU’s Center of Excellence for Women in Technology and is a member of the Indiana University Angel network and the IU Founders and Funders club.
